Audits

The safety audits offered by ACCEN are designed to check whether the minimum requirements of Polish Law in the field of work safety at height are met. They are based on existing regulations and international standards set in this area. Work safety audits at height carried out by ACCEN consist of several stages. The first stage is the precise preparation of the plan and scope of the audit together with a schedule of activities. The second stage covers familiarisation with the Company – an overview of the organisation and working conditions at positions where there is a risk of falling from a height.

Verification whether the minimum technical requirements of the building infrastructure on/in which the works at height are carried out are met. Random observation of the work process at individual positions – determination whether employees observe the regulations on health and life protection during performing their work activities. Review of health and safety documentation including periodic health and safety training, training in work at height, medical examinations, etc. Inspection of personal fall protection equipment for its efficiency and current periodic inspections. Determining the effectiveness of collective protection measures applied.

The third stage covers drawing up a summary of the visit – a report on the activities carried out together with an indication of areas where safety requirements are not met. Proposing optimal solutions protecting employees during the performed works. Relaying the report to the client.
The final stage is to summarise the audit and present a summary report for review, indicating the main areas where corrective actions are necessary in the first place.
