The ACCEN GUARD protective guardrails system is intended for use as a collective protection measure for persons working at a height. They are most commonly used on flat roofs with a slope of up to 3 degrees (PN-EN 14122 part 3) or up to 10 degrees (PN-EN 13374 class A). The railing has a guardrail at a height of 1,1 m and a crossbar at half its height.
The ACCEN GUARD system works on the principle of a counterweight, thanks to the weights mounted on the arms moved away from the railing axis, the system is stable. They are installed without interfering with the roof covering, which ensures its tightness. Railings and brackets made of aluminum alloy, and the inertia mass of plastic, the railings can be painted in any of the RAL colours.
All components in contact with the roof surface are protected against the possibility of damage to the insulation. ACCEN GUARD guardrails systems meet static and dynamic testing requirements in accordance with en ISO 14122-3, EN 13374 – Class A. They ensure the safety of users who work at height, thus guaranteeing the required compliance with the Regulation of the Minister of Labour and Social Policy of 26 September 1997 on general provisions of occupational safety and health.
