FAS AT 2.0

The FAS system attic seat is a special anchoring device permanently installed in the reinforced concrete attic of a building.

The attic seat is an element of the façade access system. Each seat is equipped with two separate TRAX LIGHT anchoring points, which allow for attaching two ropes: working and belaying. The anchor points to which the ropes are plugged are always located on the seats, thus increasing the safety of use and ergonomics.

In seats with service option there is a third anchoring point, used for technical rope transport, e.g. when replacing the glass.

The attic seat is anchored to the reinforced concrete substrate of at least C20/25 class with the use of mechanical and chemical anchors. The seat is made of high-strength steel S355J2G3 and protected against corrosion by hot dip galvanizing. In addition, at the customer’s request, each element of the FAS system can be painted in any colour from the RAL palette.

The seat is suitable for mounting a mobile arm of the FAS system with a reach of 1 to 2,5 meters.

The attic seat is a system solution, tested for compliance with the PN-EN 795:2012 A standard. Therefore, calculations and construction designs for system components such as seats or booms are not required. All elements fastening the system of belaying and working rope transfer forces of at least 12 kN without deformation.

FAS meets all requirements of the regulations regarding working at heights with rope access techniques. The use of the system is not subject to the provisions of the The Office of Technical Inspection, which simplifies all the formalities for putting the system into service. However, it requires annual periodic inspections, carried out by an authorized service center.
